COVID-19 Measures.
Mercados – Aries International is aware of the difficulties introduced in projects’ development by COVID-19. In this regard, our company has implemented the necessary measures to ensure a successful development of the project even in the case of a new crisis that restrains mobility, either domestic or international. Our experts are covered by an insurance policy that covers any issue related to COVID–19.
Therefore, our company has developed and is considering the following scenarios:
Scenario 1: No Limitation
- Overall Project: in this scenario, the project shall be implemented as indicated in the methodology with the correspondent missions and activities.
- Trips and Missions: there shall be done according to the schedule and no special care measures other than usual ones.
- Workshops and site visits: there shall be done according to the schedule and no special care measures other than usual ones.
Scenario 2: International Trips Limitations & Distance measures
- Overall Project: in this scenario, the project shall be implemented as indicated in the methodology with the restriction of some international flights. Special distance and protection measures shall be implemented.
- Trips and Missions: consultants shall do as many international missions as possible subject to the rules on quarantine and testing. In case of quarantine, the missions shall be replaced with Virtual Missions.
- Workshops and site visits: subject to local rules, physical workshops shall be done respecting the necessary distances and health measures. Consultants shall wear at all moments a mask (or similar) to protect everyone’s health. Consultants shall utilize the local team to do the necessary site visits.
Scenario 3: International Trips Forbidden & Distance measures
- Overall Project: in this scenario, the project shall be implemented as indicated in the methodology with the restriction over all international flights. Protection measures shall be implemented as indicated by the authorities.
- Trips and Missions: consultants will replace the missions with Virtual Missions that shall be organized via Microsoft Teams.
- Workshops and site visits: consultants shall utilize the local team to do the necessary site visits (in streaming if appropriate) where the international consultant shall follow and guide the team members to record and collect all necessary details and information for the project.
Scenario 4: Strong Lockdown
- Overall Project: in this scenario, the project shall require the revision of the work schedule to perform all the desk work during the lockdown so that the field works can be done once the lockdown situation is over or eased to facilitate local team mobilization.
- Trips and Missions: the Consultant will replace the missions with Virtual Missions that shall be organized via Microsoft Teams.
- Workshops and site visits: consultants shall utilize the local team when available to do the necessary site visits (in streaming if appropriate) where the international consultant shall follow and guide the team members to record and collect all necessary details and information for the project.
